After success test of RLV- TD, ISRO is gearing up to test a scramjet engine based on air-breathing propulsion named Advanced Technology Vehicle (ATV), which will hitched to a two-stage sounding rocket (RH- 560) in July
The air-breathing engine will be released at a height of 70 km & ignited during the coasting phase. Apart from the hypersonic ignition at Mach 6, ISRO hopes to sustain the combustion for 5secs

Check out the latest imagery from the Orion recovery testing taking place off the coast of California. NASA's GSDO team along with the U.S. Navy are practicing techniques and checking out the hardware they will use to recover the Orion capsule upon return from space.
Orion will launch atop the SLS rocket on an uncrewed mission, Exploration Mission 1 in 2018. The work is in support of NASA's Journey to Mars.
